The most surprising part of learning technology on a budget

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. technology got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I love details that only make sense once you've been there.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I keep a note about culture for exactly this reason.

That made the concept click.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

Big fan of this approach. This is more useful on a tired rainy evening than on a perfect day. Public transit stories are secretly sociology stories.

Fair pushback.

I found this disappointing because it skips the hardest part. I am curious whether science still feels good next month.
