Can we talk about the underrated side of 5k without making it complicated

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the playlist for a while.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where shoes stopped feeling new.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and marathon seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. A little friction removed goes a long way.

I am stealing that phrase.

@tiny_urban Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

Helpful correction.

I would love a follow-up example.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? The social part surprised me too.

Adding this to my notes.

Can you expand on that a bit?

What would you change if you started over? I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
