Library of Alexandria is my favorite kind of niche discovery on a budget

en.wikipedia.org

I started this because my first week felt a little stuck, and science seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This has cozy competence written all over it. I would test it for 7 days before deciding.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. The Seoul example makes it feel concrete.

That made the concept click.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. For me it came down to the route.

I wanted to like this, but the alexandria argument is weak. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result. This is kinder advice than most of the internet manages.

Good reminder that boring can be good. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Lisbon? I keep a note about culture for exactly this reason. Glad you shared the messy version too.
