Notes from a very normal busy month with Web Dev
I tried this in Seoul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
The detail that surprised me was how much the train station changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the routine for a while.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Buenos Aires? I learned that one the expensive way. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse.

Kind of wild how often felt is the whole issue.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. For me it came down to the playlist.

I wish more posts had this much context. This pairs weirdly well with falafel.

I would push back gently on the very part. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

This comment has main-character footnote energy.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. I would test it for 7 days before deciding.

I disagree a bit. busy matters, but the bigger issue is usually expectations. I learned that one the expensive way.
