The thing nobody told me about reviews after a tiny failure

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Books feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. fiction got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. My friend tried it in Cairo and had the opposite result.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. The messy constraint is probably the real story.
