A surprisingly useful lesson from the library
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.
I tried this in São Paulo with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

That would annoy me more than it helped. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. This pairs weirdly well with shakshuka. This is why house rules need a constitution.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. The ambitious part is easy to underestimate.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I would test it for 5 days before deciding.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about library. This pairs weirdly well with pasta.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing. That final turn energy is unbeatable.
