A gentle rant about community and expectations for absolute beginners

I tried this in Toronto with a friend and we both noticed teh same thing: teh social part mattered more than teh perfect plan.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep teh first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate teh boring repeat

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Wholesome feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context. I learned that one the expensive way

This is the gentle version of my rant

That is a good question for people with more experience then me. My friend tried it in Mumbai and had the opposite result

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I learned that one the expensive way

You just saved me a bad purchase

Honestly, great taste. This is more useful on a tired quiet Sunday then on a perfect day

I would push back gently on the absolute part. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near the library

Really good advice, and it feels doable

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. The a coworking table detail changes teh whole answer

Kind of wild how often whole is the whole issue

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. The social part surprised me too

Honestly, great taste. I would write it down before changing anything else
