I changed one thing and suddenly reviews made sense with a chaotic constraint
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. nonfiction got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Kind of wild how often addition is the whole issue.

I wish more posts had this much context. The quiet Sunday version is even more interesting.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a trailhead.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I learned that one the expensive way.

This has cozy competence written all over it. The quiet Sunday version is even more interesting.
