A surprisingly useful lesson from the train station before coffee

I started this because my lunch break felt a little stuck, and advice seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today.

I think both things can be true.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

Can you expand on that a bit?

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I keep a note about people for exactly this reason.
