The thing nobody told me about gear after a tiny failure

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the tiny repair for a while.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This feels like advice from a patient friend. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Love the tiny experiment energy. The Madrid example makes it feel concrete. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. This is more useful on a tired first week than on a perfect day.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. This pairs weirdly well with falafel.

Great point, especially the part about told. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
