A gentle rant about reviews and expectations that actually stuck
I tried this in Seoul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. The social part surprised me too.

Useful intention, poor execution. Sound design deserves more credit.

I am cheering for this update. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a family dinner.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I love when a recommendation comes with the right mood attached.

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context. I learned that one the expensive way. This belongs on a rainy evening list.

My first thought was cost, then time, then whether I would remember to do it. I keep a note about libraries for exactly this reason.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

That would annoy me more than it helped. I am curious whether nonfiction still feels good next month.

This depends heavily on budget, time and personality. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. For me it came down to the practice run.

This sounds good, but in practice it can be a bad idea without more context. My friend tried it in São Paulo and had the opposite result.
