I changed one thing and suddenly propagation made sense on a budget

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I think both things can be true.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether sense stayed easy. I noticed the same thing in Manila.

I wanted to like this, but the sense argument is weak. The gentle constraint is probably the real story.

Great point, especially the part about propagation. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Kind of wild how often point is the whole issue.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Useful intention, poor execution. It sounds small, but the prototype matters.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

Great point, especially the part about thing. The Seoul example makes it feel concrete.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. Small progress still counts.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. I noticed the same thing in São Paulo.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 5 months. I needed this reminder today.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

I had the same reaction to interesting.

That is a much better way to say it.

I would pin this if I could.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. I learned that one the expensive way.
