Notes from a very normal rainy evening with Gadgets in real life

I tried this in Jakarta with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. I am curious whether gear still feels good next month. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I learned that one the expensive way.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. The late summer version is even more interesting.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. The the train station detail changes the whole answer.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

Yep, the boring details matter.

That made the concept click.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. The social part surprised me too.
