The useful joy of doing the route badly at first after 30 tries
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where emulation stopped feeling new.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. nostalgia got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
The detail that surprised me was how much a tiny balcony changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

This has cozy competence written all over it. The cozy constraint is probably the real story.

Honestly, great taste. That is where the boring checklist helps.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. The 7-minute rule is underrated. Backlog guilt is a shared cultural experience.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I am curious whether arcade still feels good next month.

There is probably a middle ground here. The gentle part is easy to underestimate.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

I would push back gently on the tries part. The a tiny balcony detail changes the whole answer.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether useful stayed easy. My only addition is to make the first step visible.
