A tiny story about sourdough, Madrid and timing after 6 tries

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the route for a while.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Good reminder that boring can be good. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a tiny balcony.

This made me smile more than expected. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Kind of wild how often write is the whole issue.

Thanks, that actually helped.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

I wish more posts had this much context. The weekend version is even more interesting. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks.

Can you share what you tried before this? A little friction removed goes a long way.

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. I am curious whether java still feels good next month.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. This is more useful on a tired weekend than on a perfect day.
