The thing nobody told me about java for absolute beginners

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where learning stopped feeling new.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result.
