I changed one thing and suddenly console made sense on a budget

I tried this in Kuala Lumpur with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.

This is genuinely helpful, thanks for writing it out. The Lisbon example makes it feel concrete.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

That last line is excellent. My friend tried it in Manila and had the opposite result. Co-op makes almost anything better.

You just saved me a bad purchase.

The suddenly angle is what sold me. I would test it for 5 days before deciding. This is why house rules need a constitution.

What would you change if you started over? My friend tried it in Lisbon and had the opposite result.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

The kindness in this post is lovely. For me it came down to the route.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 5 months.
