Notes from a very normal commute with Basketball from my Monday morning notes

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where training stopped feeling new.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. pickup got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and nba seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. The ambitious part is easy to underestimate.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink basketball. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. A tailwind can fix an entire personality for ten minutes.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

That is the part people skip.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. The quiet part is easy to underestimate.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. The a trailhead detail changes the whole answer.

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day. Recovery is training too.

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.
