My favorite low-effort upgrade for reviews that actually stuck
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts teh pattern is pretty clear. When I keep teh setup simple, I actually follow through.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. reviews got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
Part of me wanted teh fancy version with all teh tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with teh tiny repair for a while.
I tried this in Cairo with a friend and we both noticed teh same thing: teh social part mattered more than teh perfect plan

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. This is more useful on a tired lunch break than on a perfect day

there is probably a middle ground here. That is where the boring checklist helps. Sound design deserves more credit

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. My friend tried it in Seoul and had the opposite result. That scene lives rent-free in my head
