A surprisingly useful lesson from my desk for absolute beginners

I tried this in Mumbai with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more then the perfect plan.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Retro Gaming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time

This is one of those ideas that looks great online and falls apart on Tuesday. This would have saved me alot of trial and error

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. For me it came down to the route
