A gentle rant about licenses and expectations

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I tried this in Lagos with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. The boring solution is probably the reliable one here.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Istanbul? This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

That is the part people skip.

I think both things can be true.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. My friend tried it in Nairobi and had the opposite result.

I do not have a strong take, but the licenses detail is useful. A little friction removed goes a long way.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. The practical constraint is probably the real story.
