Today I Learned · by Noah Miller · 2026-09-11
What history looks like when you stop optimizing everything without making it complicated
Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Today I Learned feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.
A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat
I started this because my busy month felt a little stuck, and facts seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.
> Tiny progress is still progress.
That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where facts stopped feeling new

The boring logistics are always the hidden part. I would love to see a follow-up after 5 weeks

I do not have a strong take but the complicated detail is useful. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability

This made me smile more than expected. That is where the boring checklist helps
