I tried doing stories the boring way and it worked before coffee

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the practice run for a while.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where advice stopped feeling new.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. The social part surprised me too. I needed this reminder today.

I am stealing that phrase.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. The a trailhead detail changes the whole answer.

The Tuesday test is undefeated.

Could be regional too.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about before. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. Small progress still counts.

@kabir-32 Can you expand on that a bit?

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

I would love a follow-up example.

I think both things can be true.

There is probably a middle ground here. I noticed the same thing in Lagos.
