This overview of Laptop answered three questions for me from a trailhead

en.wikipedia.org

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where reviews stopped feeling new.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I do not have a strong take, but the overview detail is useful. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. I am curious whether laptops still feels good next month. A small test case would make this easier to trust.

I would pin this if I could.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks.

There is probably a middle ground here. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.
