I changed one thing and suddenly cookies made sense after 41 tries

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 4 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Baking feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. sourdough got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

The detail that surprised me was how much a trailhead changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Honestly, this is a little too vague to be useful. I would love to see a follow-up after 6 weeks.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. I learned that one the expensive way. Texture is doing a lot of work here.
