I finally understand why Football people care about tactics without making it complicated

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Football feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I started this because my commute felt a little stuck, and fans seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. The Mexico City example makes it feel concrete.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

I would love a follow-up example.

Can you share what you tried before this? That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

This is the gentle version of my rant.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. I noticed the same thing in Buenos Aires.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. The quiet Sunday version is even more interesting.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. The ambitious constraint is probably the real story.

This. Exactly this.
