Which advice is actually useful

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. stories got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

I picked Maybe later, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist?

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Maybe later. It seems like the practical answer. The lunch break version is even more interesting.

I wish more posts had this much context. I noticed the same thing in Kuala Lumpur.

I think the bad version of this advice causes a lot of frustration. The a neighborhood park detail changes the whole answer.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. That is the kind of detail beginners miss.

Fair pushback.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.
