The small playlists habit that changed my rainy evening for absolute beginners

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 3 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error. I love when a recommendation comes with the right mood attached.

There is a hidden assumption here that not everyone shares. The busy month version is even more interesting. I love when a recommendation comes with the right mood attached.

The conclusion is too broad, but the example is interesting. I would love to see a follow-up after 4 weeks. The second half changed how I felt about the beginning.
