International Space Station feels oddly relevant to Space after a tiny failure

en.wikipedia.org

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Space feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where rockets stopped feeling new.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

I would push back gently on the space part. I am curious whether planets still feels good next month. Now I want to read the paper behind it.

My version of this was messier, but the conclusion was similar. I would love to see a follow-up after 4 weeks.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. The scale of it still melts my brain a little.

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

That made the concept click.
