Pick one for the rest of the month

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where ingredients stopped feeling new.

This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. ingredients got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Favorite café. It seems like the practical answer. The social part surprised me too.

Appreciate the nuance.

Takeout treat got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. The lunch break version is even more interesting.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. This is more useful on a tired late summer than on a perfect day.

Could be regional too.

I picked Takeout treat, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. I learned that one the expensive way.

I needed the reminder to start smaller.

I picked Keep it simple, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

Kind of wild how often overcomplicate is the whole issue.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

Keep it simple got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. I would love to see a follow-up after 7 weeks.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Takeout treat. It seems like the practical answer. It reminds me of a very specific conversation near a tiny balcony.
