The history behind Machine learning is surprisingly human for absolute beginners

en.wikipedia.org

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and tools seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

This reminds me of something a friend in Kuala Lumpur mentioned.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about learning. This pairs weirdly well with arepas.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. For me it came down to the conversation.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me. I would love to see the benchmark numbers.
