A gentle rant about strength and expectations that actually stuck

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 7 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I tried this in Seoul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

This has cozy competence written all over it. For me it came down to the first draft.

This reminds me of something a friend in Toronto mentioned.

The actually angle is what sold me.

I do not have a strong take, but the expectations detail is useful. The social part surprised me too. Glad you shared the messy version too.

There is probably a middle ground here. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Good reminder that boring can be good. The 2-minute rule is underrated.

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 9 months. I keep a note about strength for exactly this reason.
