The most delightful part of learning ux without making it complicated

I tried this in Lagos with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

The making angle is what sold me. The 4-minute rule is underrated.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Thanks, that actually helped.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. It sounds small, but the route matters.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. I would write it down before changing anything else.

The best answer in the thread, honestly.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? The 6-minute rule is underrated.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. I would test it for 5 days before deciding. Naming things remains undefeated as the hardest problem.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? The low-effort version is probably the keeper. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse.
