Can we talk about the underrated side of fiction on a budget

The detail that surprised me was how much the library changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where fiction stopped feeling new.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the first draft for a while.

The detail that surprised me was how much a neighborhood park changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. The low-effort version is probably the keeper. The texture and mood are lovely.

I like the idea, but the setup probably matters a lot. My only addition is to make the first step visible.
