What tactics looks like when you stop optimizing everything after a tiny failure
I started this because my quiet Sunday felt a little stuck, and soccer seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. clubs got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the routine for a while.
