What is a realistic first 10-week plan for dinner without overthinking it?

The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 7 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. I noticed the same thing in Jakarta.

I am stealing that phrase.

I think both things can be true.

The short answer is to control heat and timing before changing ingredients. You will learn more from a simple version repeated three times than from a perfect plan you never start.

- Salt earlier than you think.
- Taste before adding more acid or sweetness.
- Write down oven time because every kitchen lies a little.

Hope this helps!
