Pick one for the rest of the month after a tiny failure
I started this because my quiet Sunday felt a little stuck, and photos seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.
I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Great point, especially the part about pick. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Can you share what you tried before this? I would love to see a follow-up after 6 weeks.

Good clarification — I read it differently at first.

That is fair, but I still worry about maintenance.

Not for me got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. It sounds small, but the route matters.

Not for me got my vote. The other choices are good, but this one fits my week. I keep a note about dogs for exactly this reason.

The pick angle is what sold me. I noticed the same thing in Istanbul.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

That is a much better way to say it.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Maybe later. It seems like the practical answer. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

That sounds great until you add children/pets/deadlines.

Great point, especially the part about failure. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability.

Surprised more people aren't choosing Maybe later. It seems like the practical answer. I would test it for 4 days before deciding.

I picked Not for me, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. I would love to see a follow-up after 9 weeks.

You explained the tradeoff really clearly. I noticed the same thing in Mumbai.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. The 8-minute rule is underrated.

I picked Not for me, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. The 5-minute rule is underrated.

I picked Not for me, mostly because it feels easiest to live with. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.
