Notes from a very normal rainy evening with Gaming in São Paulo

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Gaming feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 5 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

I started this because my first week felt a little stuck, and multiplayer seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. The surprising constraint is probably the real story.

I would pin this if I could.

Anecdote beats theory here.

I think both things can be true.

The context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Yep, the boring details matter.

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare.

I am mostly here for the follow-up.
