My 3-month experiment with interiors on a budget

The detail that surprised me was how much the kitchen changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I tried this in Lisbon with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. I would love to see a follow-up after 10 weeks.

Honestly, great taste. The quiet Sunday version is even more interesting. Process photos would be fun to see.

Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. I learned that one the expensive way.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. The low-effort version is probably the keeper. This makes me want to start a weekend project.

This is the kind of disagreement I like.

Yep, the boring details matter.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. My friend tried it in Warsaw and had the opposite result.
