What I wish I knew before trying artists that actually stuck
Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the route for a while.
Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Music feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. artists got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Agree completely. The simple version is underrated. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

Honestly, great taste. I noticed the same thing in Lagos. This belongs on a rainy evening list.

This reminds me of something a friend in Toronto mentioned. This is more useful on a tired weekend than on a perfect day.

I laughed, but you are not wrong.

I am saving this for the next time I overthink trying. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Glad you shared it; small wins count. The 10-minute rule is underrated.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. I noticed the same thing in Seoul.

This has cozy competence written all over it. This is more useful on a tired weekend than on a perfect day.

This sounds sensible, though I would need to test it myself. For me it came down to the setup.
