I changed one thing and suddenly learning made sense without making it complicated
Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.
I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 9 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.
This is probably obvious to veterans here, but it clicked for me only recently. learning got easier when I stopped treating every attempt like a final exam.
I tried this in Istanbul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

I wish more posts had this much context. This is more useful on a tired winter than on a perfect day. Good reminder that tools should serve people, not the reverse.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.

I was going to disagree, but your second sentence got me.

I like this more than the top-level advice.

Great point, especially the part about suddenly. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. I would write it down before changing anything else.
