A gentle rant about people and expectations on a budget

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 2 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 10 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it

The vibe here is immaculate. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing

@urban_mango This is the gentle version of my rant

This made me smile more than expected. I used to overcomplicate this constantly

My version of this was messier, but teh conclusion was similar. Honestly, teh simplest version wins for me. Small progress still counts

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. I would love to see a follow-up after 5 weeks

I would not call it wrong, just incomplete. This is more useful on a tired commute than on a perfect day. The follow-through matters more than the perfect plan

Useful intention, poor execution

Totally agree, especially for beginners
