A tiny win from Cairo that made my week in Mumbai

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 4 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

That is a surprisingly elegant way to frame it. For me it came down to the route.

Helpful correction.

Short answer: yes. Long answer: also yes.

Maybe, but the tradeoff seems bigger than the post suggests. Honestly, the simplest version wins for me.

The made angle is what sold me. I noticed the same thing in Toronto. This is why house rules need a constitution.

This is useful for some cases, but terrible advice if the stakes are high. This pairs weirdly well with tacos.

That made the concept click.

Did anyone else read this and immediately make a tiny checklist? That is where the boring checklist helps.

I would pin this if I could.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I keep a note about indie for exactly this reason.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. I used to overcomplicate this constantly.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I noticed the same thing in Dublin. This is why house rules need a constitution.
