A beginner mistake I am weirdly glad I made without making it complicated

I tried this in Istanbul with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

Context: I am not an expert, just someone trying to make Gadgets feel less intimidating. I wrote down what worked, what felt awkward, and what I would do differently next time.

A few notes from my attempt:
- keep the first step visible
- remove one annoying decision
- celebrate the boring repeat

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and phones seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. A little friction removed goes a long way.

This feels like advice from a patient friend. I keep a note about laptops for exactly this reason.

This made me smile more than expected. The a trailhead detail changes the whole answer.
