I changed one thing and suddenly portraits made sense in Warsaw

I started this because my weekend felt a little stuck, and film seemed like a manageable place to experiment. The funny part is that the smallest change was the one I kept.

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the setup for a while.

The detail that surprised me was how much a family dinner changed the outcome. Same plan, different setting, completely different energy.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about changed. It sounds small, but the conversation matters. I like that it feels lived-in instead of over-polished.

Do you think this would work in a smaller place than Jakarta? The low-effort version is probably the keeper.

Honestly, great taste. I would write it down before changing anything else.

This feels a little overrated to me, even if the intention is good. I would love to see a follow-up after 3 weeks.

This made me smile more than expected. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

What happened after the first week? I am curious whether portraits stayed easy. This is where I would ask one more question before choosing.

Fair point, but I had the opposite experience. The 7-minute rule is underrated. Process photos would be fun to see.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. I learned that one the expensive way.

Yep, the boring details matter.

Thanks, that actually helped.

Love the tiny experiment energy.
