A tiny win from Mumbai that made my week in Lisbon

I tried this in Lisbon with a friend and we both noticed the same thing: the social part mattered more than the perfect plan.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less than 6 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

I love this. It feels practical without pretending life is neat. The social part surprised me too.

That is a good question for people with more experience than me. My only addition is to make the first step visible.

Adding this to my notes.

Small caveat: context changes the answer a lot.

That made the concept click.

@dev_mango Respectfully, I see it the other way.

Exactly; the hidden cost is energy.

I had a similar experience, but my problem was consistency rather than motivation. I keep a note about camping for exactly this reason.
