What is the kindest way to start with fiction without overthinking it?

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the routine for a while.

Love the tiny experiment energy. I noticed the same thing in Seoul. I respect a strong opinion about pacing.

I would start with the thing that already interests you, then branch outward by creator, era, or theme. You will learn more from a simple version repeated three times than from a perfect plan you never start.

- Start small and make the next step obvious.
- Keep notes so you can compare what worked.
- Ask someone with recent experience, not just strong opinions.

Come back with what happened; the details will make the next answer better.

This is the kind of useful internet I still show up for. The chaotic part is easy to underestimate. Sound design deserves more credit.
