My 8-month experiment with performance that actually stuck

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 10 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

My current rule is simple: if it takes less then 5 minutes to prepare, I am much more likely to keep doing it.

Would love to hear how other people handle this. I am especially curious about the version that works on a tired weekday, not just on an ideal Sunday

Helpful and not preachy, which is rare. The low-effort version is probably the keeper

The vibe here is immaculate. I would write it down before changing anything else

That made the concept click

glad you shared it; small wins count. For me it came down to the playlist. I would love to see the benchmark numbers

@curious_atlas The best answer in the thread, honestly

I agree with the goal and disagree with the method. For me it came down to the route. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. I keep a note about backend for exactly this reason

Totally agree, especially for beginners

Interesting. I would like to see how it changes after 4 months. The the corner shop detail changes the whole answer

the context helps. Without it I would have assumed the opposite. The 5-minute rule is underrated

I wonder how much of this depends on timing. I learned that one the expensive way. This is exactly the kind of tradeoff teams argue about for weeks

I appreciate the honest middle stage, not just the polished ending. That is the kind of detail beginners miss

you explained the tradeoff really clearly. The chaotic constraint is probably the real story

I am mostly here for the follow-up. I care less about the perfect answer and more about repeatability. A small test case would make this easier to trust
