A surprisingly useful lesson from the corner shop from my commute notes

> Tiny progress is still progress.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where housing stopped feeling new.

The framing feels off to me. Not terrible, just not convincing. My only addition is to make the first step visible. This makes me want to look at a map for an hour.

Anecdotally, this tracks with what I have seen. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

Kind of wild how often tracks is the whole issue.

Wonderful detail. It makes the whole thing feel real. The the library detail changes the whole answer. The everyday customs are often the best part of travel.

Excellent timing; I was just thinking about corner. That is where the boring checklist helps.

Beautifully put. I needed that reminder today. The a neighborhood park detail changes the whole answer.

I would push back gently on the commute part. I would write it down before changing anything else.

Amazing how much difference one small change can make. The social part surprised me too.

Really good advice, and it feels doable. This would have saved me a lot of trial and error.

The useful angle is what sold me. I learned that one the expensive way.

This is adorable and oddly motivating. That is the kind of detail beginners miss. Public transit stories are secretly sociology stories.

Great point, especially the part about corner. The 2-minute rule is underrated.
