The gentle joy of doing the practice run badly at first before coffee

Part of me wanted the fancy version with all the tools. The better version was boring: one notebook, one reminder, and a willingness to be clumsy with the prototype for a while.

I had a disappointing first try, a surprisingly good second try, and then a third attempt that taught me humility. So, naturally, I now have opinions.

That line sounds cheesy, but it got me through the part where questions stopped feeling new.

I know this is a tiny sample size, but after 8 attempts the pattern is pretty clear. When I keep the setup simple, I actually follow through.

Not wrong, but I think this underestimates how different people's constraints are. The social part surprised me too. People underestimate how much sleep changes the answer.

Same here. It took me too long to learn.
